Day Nine

Today, I woke up a little late. Last night was the first time I had stayed up past midnight. I was taking some time to go over today's lesson. I woke up at about 10:30 am, and started getting ready. After my shower and shave and getting dressed, I checked my cell phone. Three students have text messaged me, wanting to hang out and be friends. Another student, one of my top students, stopped by to show me the new schedule for my classes. I am teaching another four classes. The four new classes can be about anything I want to talk about, and I was told that the students would like to get to know me more. That I am the first foreign teacher in the school of law and politics, and that Mr. Li thought it would be good to teach them about something more, perhaps something about me.

The classes are in the school of law and politics, so I assume that means that the classes should cover something to do with law and politics. I think my first lesson will be: what it takes to be an American lawyer. That should give the students both a chance to get to know me, and to know what standard the American Lawyer is held to.

I have one class at 2:00 pm, which I have prepared for, and another at 3:50, which I have to come up with a lesson for.
