Teach, teach teach

I found a new part time job for this semester. The company runs an English school for young people....It is called guess what...."Younger English." They called me after getting my name and phone number last semester from Steve, the Foreign Experts Director here at LuDong. I am going to teach there for the first time tomorrow. I was smart. I negotiated a trial period of one week (really just one day) to see how it goes. I told them that my commitment here in China is to LuDong University, because they brought me here, and that I could only work a few hours a week and must be paid 150 Yuan an hour. They agreed to 130 Yuan an hour, and we signed for the trial period.

I should have internet connectivity back tomorrow. Life without internet has changed me. I have gotten out more, and been cooking my own food a lot. I spend more time at the school using their internet. Today I taught American Governmental Structures at 9:50 am, then I went about taking care of errands. Tomorrow I teach for four hours at Younger English, and then later this week we have a seven day holiday: the second most important Chinese Holiday...more on that later.
