I moved into my new apartment

I moved into my new apartment, but I have to wait until monday to set up my internet. No big deal, just a day or two. For now I am using my neighbors connection. My apartment is very nice. It hasd a bedroom, a kitchen, a dining room, a bathroom, and a sitting room, as well as a balcony. Steve purchased a new washing machine, refirdgerator, western toilet, locking bookshelf, water dispenser with heating unit, air conditioning unit (sits on the floor, and has a remote...nice), and a mini oven, a gas range stove, and a water heater for the shower. Oh, he alo bought me a table lamp. I will be getting the school issued computer and a television on monday.

I spent today shopping for household items, knives, cutting board, coat hangers, laundry detergent, soap, a wok, and a pot, a tea set, some tea, a clothes line (no dryer, we chinese hang our clothes).

My bathroom window is very low, so without a curtainsomeone could see me naked from the street. Although I am on the fourth floor, I didn't want to risk it. For 80 yuan I had a tailor at the fabric market make me a nice dragon pattern curtain for my bathroom window.

(So, everything is good. Mom, if you are reading this, I paid my student loan today!)

Oh and since I am offline for a few days, I can't make phone calls, but you can call me...somehow. My Texas cell phone seems to somehow accept call? I don't know how.
