Another day of food and fun!

I went to the Penglaichen Restaurant again today to try some new dishes. This is the fish-balll soup, and it is very very good "hen hao." I also had a large bowl of the beef noodles, of which I had a cup last time. This is a liter of Yantai beer, made locally and one of the best beers in China, I think. They only come in these large bottles.

My waitress at Penglaichen is very nice, and she seemed really interested to talk to me, so I asked her if she wanted to hang out during her break. She and I went to the Nanshan Park, a short walk away from the restaurant. We just sat and talked and relaxed. It was nice. We found someones wallet, and it had about 30 Yuan in it. We turned it in to the park staff.

Her name is Wan Ni, and she is going to grad school to study chemistry. She is very wacky and I am constantly laughing at her antics.

I am going to Chingdao tomorrow for a day or two. Wan Ni says it is cleaner and nicer than Yantai. I have read there is a very nice aquarium. Steve says the Taxi drivers aren't very nice there, but I think I can win them over.
