In Qingdao You Drink From Grocery Bags

It is true. In Qingdao you order your beer at a street bar and they bring it to you in grocery bags. There is no can, no bottle, no glass, just beer and a plastic bag! The Aussie and the Brits taught me how to pour and we all drank plenty of tasty Tsingtao (Qingdao) beer.

The instructions are: hold the two handles in one hand, pinch the middle of the back end of the bag, and pull away from the drinker/cup until the beer pours out the other side and over the top of the bag lip. Hang extra beer bags on a door handle or a hook. Enjoy!

It is actually pretty fun to do. The beer is super inexpensive: 5 Yuan (That's about 75 cents) for 2 liters of beer. So we had plenty...one of the Brits (Philip) puked on Yukis bed, and Yuki had to take an empty one. I told them I am too old to drink so much, so not me! Stewie and the Irish guys drank a lot: it is true that Irishmen can drink.
